NASA JPL Rapid Mission Architecture Room

I hope everyone's been well. These are some new images of the Rapid Mission Architecture Room at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory the room's official name is "Left Field". I had a lot of fun working on this project along with designer Dan Goods.

Virgin Oceanic

This last week I had a wonderful time creating this new image for Virgin Oceanic. A new ocean exploration company headed by Sir Richard Branson and Chris Welsh. I just got back from the press conference where I was able to see the new sub and super catamaran. When you get a chance check out the rest of the site created by my friends at Lau Design Labs. New NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Mural

I'm very excited to release images of a new mural I recently created for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
This mural hangs in the lobby of the "Project Formulation" building. As impressive and otherworldly as
some of JPL's missions end up being, many of them are conceived using basic spreadsheets and flowcharts.
This 20' painting interprets the shape of a real spacecraft that will possibly travel to Neptune someday.

Early Start Screening In Rome

The Screening will be a part of the release party for the new issue of Fukt magazine, which I will also have work appearing in. Hope everyone's well. I've been busy finishing up some projects and starting new ones. Above is a mailer for a group show being held by my friends at Tinlark Gallery the opening reception will be this Saturday from 7 to 10. I included a detail of the drawing I have in the show. Hello everyone, I hope you've all been well. I just got back from Illustrative 2009, I had a great time. I saw lots of cool stuff and met some wonderful artist like Roman Bittner, Christian Montenegro, and Sebastien Preschoux. My girlfriend Kathryn McFarlane and I took lots of pictures and did a little bit of sketching, I will post more photos periodically in the next few weeks. I also had the new images from NASA JPL photographed this week (pictured above).

Hello, hope everyone is doing well. I just returned from Doug Aitken's opening at 303 gallery in New York. Above is some of the work I was lucky enough to work with Doug on. Mike Matheson (center), Jeaneen Carlino(left), and Austin McCormick(not pictured) were also great contributors to the project. And are all awesome artist!!! We all had a great time exploring the city, I really enjoyed the Natural History Museum.

Making Art

Hope everyone has been doing well, I've been having a lot of fun working on a variety of projects. The very top image is a series of spots that deal with bowling terminology. I worked with Art Director Mark Shaw of Vibe. I hung out with Doug Aitken on the set of his new project, where I met this mountain lion. I've continued to work on a variety of projects at NASA JPL (images coming soon). And I'm currently creating new work for a couple of shows occurring locally and internationally. In closing, I found out earlier this week that I'll have a piece appearing in the upcoming American Illustration Annual (below). Have an awesome week, and check back soon.

Caltech Undergraduate Research Journal

California Institute of Technology Undergraduate Research Journal (CURJ) is doing a feature on my work in the upcoming issue. The CMYK magazine featuring five of my pieces is out. And I'm thrilled to report that my hometown newspaper the Turlock Journal interviewed me for the Saturday paper. I'll be busy this month finishing up the NASA project and preparing my show in November with my good friend Michael Matheson at Abacot Gallery. A couple other projects are currently in the works, more on that later. peace

Hello I'm kind of new to blogging. So I'll try to catch everybody up. I moved to Pasadena a few years ago, to attend Art Center College of Design, upon graduation I have been blessed with the opportunity of being a working artist. This month I've been busy working with the incredible Doug Aitken, Goldie Cosmetics, and Smith & Cult (more on that once I get the hang of this). I was also in a group show at Abacot Gallery (an awesome new space in Chinatown)I also have an image in this months Communication Arts Illustration Annual. Tenny Hovsepians from LA2Day was nice enough to write an article about me a couple months ago as well.
